The motivation for a specialized MAC, Hidden terminals, Exposed terminals, Near and far terminals, SDMA, FDMA, FDM for multiple access and duplex, TDMA, Fixed TDM, Classical Aloha, Slotted Aloha, Carrier sense multiple access, Demand assigned multiple access.
